If so, we need to give one to SavageGeese. The reviews are refreshing and the production is breathtaking. It’s nice to see someone putting in the effort to be professional and different.

Oh my god, they actually show the underneath of the cars and stuff. These things could easily be a TV show!

That’s good, but there are other ways to shoot a car besides a slow dolly shot set to the stuff they play on Sirius XMU at 2 in the morning.

Exactly! Only problem is you have to treat them as episodes instead of the youtube quick clips we are used to (6 to 12 minutes). But that’s what makes it awesome since it’s REAL opinions and everyday street driving.

I’m sure, but I’m more into the impressions segments since they actually convey a lot of aspects about the vehicle in real world conditions than anything else. The tidbits that happen under the vehicle in the garage are also notable since they really tell where the cost cutting or advancements went. Just something different to supplement the other 12 car reviews you probably watch.

I don’t know if there is, but there should be if there isn’t one.

Great review, albeit the friend was a bit glib for video, save the slipped swear at the end.
It was interesting about the infotainment control knob getting clobbered while shifting. I wonder if it is a matter of design placement, or driver habit for putting a hand there.... but one does wonder if they would be better placed on the dash somehow.
The 99 Miata is in the shop for a timing belt, water pump, and other assorted services, and the mazda dealer has a Club and a GT Miata... needless to say the spouse is SERIOUSLY smitten. In deep smite.
The interior design otherwise seems quite good, and I was actually more comfortable inside than on the 99, in terms of knee and leg room, although the seat seemed a bit narrow for my back, they fit others just fine.
Didn’t realize the trunk release was so low, but the key fob is easier anyway.
I am hoping there will be a Limited Edition or something coming up, with another compelling color in addition to Soul red.
Pewter silver with red/brown leather interior would be great... or metallic green with saddle brown leather seats and lower dash, and maybe a slight touch of wood in the interior might be interesting.
The Soul red is striking, but probably almost ubiquitous on 2016 Miatas, and the spouse prefers the Classic Red of the 99 Miata we have. Black is good, but hard to maintain, and sunny-day convertibles seem odd in formal black. gray, silver, white, and a muted blue are hardly a wide gamut of color choices. Aside from Soul Red, there isn’t much else.
